About Me

My name is Kayla Snyder, and I wear many hats in life—teacher, mom, and visual storyteller. Each role I hold shapes who I am, and together they create a fulfilling and ever-evolving journey that I wouldn’t trade for anything.

The Teacher in Me

Teaching isn’t just what I do; it’s a huge part of who I am. There is something truly magical about being in a classroom, connecting with students, and watching them grow—both academically and personally. I have always believed that education is more than just facts and formulas; it’s about inspiring curiosity, building confidence, and fostering a love for learning. Every student walks into my classroom with their own story, and I take it as both a privilege and a responsibility to be a part of that story, even for a short while.

The Mom Life

As much as I love being a teacher, the most rewarding title I carry is "Mom." Motherhood has changed me in the most beautiful and challenging ways. It’s taught me patience I didn’t know I had, strength I didn’t know I needed, and a depth of love that’s hard to put into words. My child is my biggest motivation. She reminds me daily of what really matters and has given me a whole new appreciation for the little things—tiny giggles, bedtime stories, and all the messes in between.

Capturing Life Through the Lens

Photography is another passion of mine. There’s something powerful about freezing a moment in time with the click of a button. I especially love candid photography—the unposed, real-life snapshots that capture emotion, connection, and the essence of a moment. Whether it’s my kid laughing in the backyard, a beautiful sunset, or a special family occasion, photography allows me to document life’s fleeting moments so they can be remembered forever.

Finding Balance and Gratitude

Life as a teacher, mom, and creative can be wonderfully full and incredibly busy. I won’t pretend it’s always easy—there are days of chaos, mess, and exhaustion—but I’ve learned to find beauty in the balance. I’m passionate about what I do, and I’m grateful to be able to do it. Each role I play enriches the others: being a mom makes me a more compassionate teacher; my love for crafts and photography feeds my creativity in the classroom and at home.

At the end of the day, what matters most to me is making a difference—whether it’s in the life of a student, the heart of my child, or even in the small moments I capture through my lens. That’s what drives me, grounds me, and fills me with purpose.

Your special moments await.
